Aren't you the artist for Multiverse?
Rod of stone 29th Jun 2018, 9:34 AM edit delete reply
Hey, Mr. Salagir? Author and main artist of DBZ: Multiverse?

It is quite an honour of DBZ:E fans to see you guys being fan of this fan-story as well.

You both rock and your hard work is evident in both your respectable works.

As a side note, I wish there will be a special detailing how the Universe 9 got their respective positions, Krillng master of Turtle School, Tien master of Crane scholl and Yamcha an android.

Keep being awesome.

So you managed to get Whis and Vados to support you on your patreon? I guess will too, if it means getting these to come quicker. What? Don't look at me like that, I told you I hate waiting!

Is that blue dragon the base of Goku's Dragon Fist(But he used it only as a Ssj3 and 4) ? Hmmm, intrensting chapter so far RMK , thank you and all your hard work!!! I would expect Goku to last more as a Ssj2 in this fight but i guess it's still early to say. I wonder how Yamcha will help him win.

Yes!!! Somehow I knew there'd be a chapter up, so I checked and here we have it! Very clever fight, and I like the revelation of the alternate set of styles! Always a pleasure to read Elsewhere!

I believe I have never been so happy for something to be out, yet so desperate for more. Keep up the fantastic work! Now, into the theories!! Here's mine: Goku is going to lose this fight, but Heiwa is going to be very impressed by him(I mean, he kinda is already) so he will leave the afterworld with Cold by his side. Cold will either receive a powerup or the ability to transform. Yamcha, after seeing the godly techniques Heiwa used, will try to use them as well, but either he will give up stating that the Wolf path is enough to triumph(looking really bad ass) or his body won't be able to use them properly. That's all I got, now to go into stasis until the next chapter comes out, let's see if I was right

read all the chapters in two nights. i had to work so i let a second day to come to finish all the chapters.
i am deeply thanking you for giving me courage to gather all my data about the story i develop for 5 years or so. i will start drawing and let my imagination take control of the project, to be guided by your devotion to your project as a proof i can do it.
managing my depression through this project may lead to a genuine story that i want to share later and to leave it to my kids that will come.
RMK, i am deeply thanking you! be at peace

Guys, great news!

We, finally, have confirmation, from the horse's mouth no less, that there is literally ZERO filler in the original DB and DBZ!

As stated by Akira Toriyama himself: "Dragonball is both the anime and the manga."

Links to it: https://comicvine.gamespot.com/forums/gen-discussion-1/is-dbz-filler-seen-as-canon-in-any-way-1665209/

http://www.kanzenshuu.com/rumor/general/

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v161/dayspring/AnimeMe4.jpg

So, this basically confirms what everyone else has been saying since the start, that Toriyama is/was a man with the most big schedule out of all mangakas in his time (he may still be) and he literally was doing this with minimal help, so he had absolutely no time to create and help build the anime as well, especially an anime that in its time had the biggest production values of all animes.

He just did not have the time to dedicate to both the anime and the manga but he had written snips and made designs were the anime team would be use as a basis for spicing up the anime.

So, all in all, this confirms that the protagonist of this story, Yamcha, DID beat Recoome of the Ginyu force and he had a spar with Krillin that ended in a somewhat draw, he and Tien did manage to stave off a Cell Jr. for a small while and he did manage to beat Olympu and a Gorilla in the Afterlife, meaning Yamcha is way stronger his detractors give me credit for.

And now we have confirmation of it.
Gokitalo 9th Aug 2018, 6:00 AM edit delete reply
Well, I wouldn't really go that far... doesn't the anime has at least two different versions of Dende learning that Piccolo absorbed Nail, for example? :-P Plus Toriyama has mentioned in interviews that he did get a little frustrated sometimes when Goku was portrayed as, in his mind, overly heroic in the anime.

Basically, I think Toriyama's otherwise approval of the anime overall lets fans pick and choose what "extra" stuff in there happened (especially since, as the Kanzenshuu link points out, a lot of the ideas for the filler were his!). So until Toriyama flat-out overwrites something that was in the anime with a new idea (or states it never happened), you can totally add it to your head-canon, or, as RMK has, incorporate it into a fan comic. Probably won't win you too many arguments with the purists, though :-P

Gokitalo.

First, my apologies for my late reply, had not checked this page for a while now, and also a second apology for my English, for they are not my native language.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but was not Toriyama talking about the depiction of Goku by the Funimation studio that did the translation (or, rather, the adaptation) of DBZ at the time? I am not versed in the Japanese subtitles and episodes enough to make a conclusive judgement.

One has to understand, that Toriyama's schedule was the most hectic schedule a manga writer had at this point in time, probably still is, not sure, he was doing all of this in the most limited time availed to a person, so, he let the TOEI animation team handle the details that he wanted to put in the manga, but he could not due to time constraints.

This is my take on it, that Toriyama wished to do more with the characters that were not important to the plot, however, he could not afford the time to do so, so he let the anime team fill in some gaps.

And I say most of DBZ is better for this.

Some of the most iconic moments of the anime are filler.

One of my most beloved scenes in the anime is in the original DB, in the King Piccolo arc, where Tien meets the unamed man he crippled for life in his search for Dragon Balls.

I can expand more why I love the 22nd World Martial Arts Tourmanet and the King Piccolo arc that followed them and I consider them the best arc of the entire series of DB, but for now, I must say that most of the filler made DB(Z) better, not worse off, imho.

I religiously checked every single week to see if Elsewhere had posted a new chapter for so long, until finally this came out. I was NOT disappointed in the SLIGHTEST. Keep doing what you're doing and keep improving, RMK! :D :D :D

First of all I am not a native English speaker so please excuse any mistakes I may do.
I deeply understand that what you do is a hobby and not a job. I would still recommend that you put an advertisement or something in this site so you would make profit.
It is not important but your job should be rewarded. It is worth it. ;)

Also a Guess on the release date of the new chapter would be appriciated to say the least.
As always keep up with the good work! LOVED THAT CHAPTER!
RMK 28th Aug 2018, 1:48 PM edit delete reply
I do appreciate your concern for me, really, I do. Having ads is a good idea, but I suppose that would also require me to post this comic on my own domain. As I do not own Comic Fury, I have no control over the ads or the ad revenue. It's just a free comic hosting site.

I am trying to have the new chapter done, but I am also in the middle of moving my family to a new city. I will post when I can. Sorry I can't give more than that.

As someone who follows and reads "Order of the Stick" from 04' and onwards, do not be afraid, Mr. RMK, patience is not only a virtue, but a God-send value in my book, I will be gladly wait for your true, unlimited, uncompromized vision of our favourite desert bandit to come to fruition, regardless how much time will take.

I wish you and your family my best wishes in the start of your new life.

Just found your webcomic and I must say that so much potential is in this concept. It's a shame the side characters and concepts of DB and DBZ have being shelved for so many years... But at least we can have an interesting alternative.

Keep up the good work :)
